Love, poetry

Serendipity

serendipity

you trip upon a stone and fall

Into me

And that is all

it takes to forge a destiny

a crawl

through indignity

all

upon bloody knees

a murky muddy call

a grey dove’s melody

casts a pall

over the ebullient symphony

holding you in thrall

to anyone but me
